SILVER NITRATE DRYING PROCESS VIA CENTRIFUGE AND DRYER

The system designed by us is used to reduce “mother liquid” in silver nitrate as much as possible, thus making it purer.

The system consists of:

• Crystalliser
• Rotating centrifuge loader
• Centrifugal separator
• Hot water boiler
• Bicone dryer
• “Mother water” recovery tank
• Unloading hopper

Operating cycle:
After crystallising silver nitrate, the latter is centrifuged for a certain time at about 600 rpm using a screw-type loader.

Crystal centrifugation has a double function:

• Recover mother liquor so that it can be reused for the process;
• Decrease a first percentage of humidity in salt.
